About Us

Compounding Capital Holdings is an Iowa-based real estate investment company. Our mission is to provide accredited investors opportunities to invest in real estate in the communities in which they live, work and play and to provide better than market returns on those investments. Our company is designed for transparency and our website is designed with a custom back end that allows our investors to review information on each asset they are share holders in at anytime they like.

We are market experts that have over 30 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, operations and management, underwriting, dispositions and market cycles. Our model allows for major operational efficiencies and provides us the ability to perform all functions of operation in house from accounting to management to property improvements.

Our diverse backgrounds also provide knowledge in every market sector: Multifamily, Retail, Office, Storage, and Land. Our unique ability to find off market deals in various asset classes sets us apart and allows our investors to invest in different assets with varying risk profiles. Our primary focus is on value-add product in all sectors and well located trophy assets.

Our connections to the brokerage, development, and banking community will allow us to see deals before they hit the market and our expert insight will allow us to see rapid growth with diversity in product type.

Why invest in the volatile stock market where you don’t know who’s investing your money, where exactly it’s placed, and you have no tangible connection to your investment? Our investment platform allows accredited investors to invest in real estate they can drive by, walk through, and even do business with the tenants that occupy it.

Are our investments safe? Like any investment there is risk, however, our local expertise and acquisition model go to great lengths to mitigate risk. Our acquisitions will be all cash or have a low loan to value so we can accomplish two major feats: one, provide stronger and more consistent quarterly returns and two, maintain cash flow during uncertain economic climates or periods of vacancy.

How are our assets tangible?

1.You can own shares in an asset you can physically drive by or walk up and touch.

2.You can support the tenant(s) that are leasing the space in the asset by doing business with them.

3.If you’re a shareholder, you can occupy space yourself and receive returns on your lease payments instead of sending checks to a Landlord.

4.You can have financial impact on the asset by bringing a tenant to fill a vacancy.

Upon graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, I began my real estate career with Sheldahl and Associates. Within my first year I was promoted to the position of Operations Manager. Over the next 10 years in this position I operated and assisted in the development of over $100 million dollars worth of real estate comprised of over 600 apartments, approximately 250,000 square feet of class A and B commercial office and retail space and over 20 executive residential subdivisions. Additionally, I was responsible for all financial aspects of the company including budgeting, reporting and lender negotiations.

After 11 years of employment with Sheldahl and Associates I left to become the Director of Operations of Newbury Management Company formerly known as Heartland Properties. I was directly responsible for the operations of over 2,500 residential rental units in Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota. Additionally I operated approximately 50,000 Square feet of Class A commercial office space in West Des Moines.

From Newbury Management I had an opportunity to purchase for myself a 28 apartment properties located throughout Iowa values at over 15 million dollars in November 2002. As part of this transaction I started up a real estate brokerage and property management company. Since this original purchase I continue to grow my portfolio with the purchase of additional real estate assets throughout Central Iowa.
